Tony Fennell

I love driving my Morris.  While originally not being particularily interested in the mechanics under the bonnet, I have to admit that I have always also loved the innovative and avant-garde design of the original MM.  When I was offered the chance to own one I jumped at the opportunity.  The car was registered in 1949 and amazingly over the years, and after four owners, it has retained its original model specifications.  On purchase I knew that the car was in superb condition and ran really well with an original side valve engine.  However, what I did not know at the time was that it came with a file of lots of original documents and maintainance records.  I have managed to add to this with  some original sales brochures and adverts from the late 40s and 50s which I think are quite charming and reflect a more genteel way of motoring.

Below are some of the advertising materials I have managed to collect with others I have yet to find!

I am sure that there are many more MM adverts and brochures that I have not yet found ... I will just have to keep on looking!
